Dr. Prasanna Menon is the best gynecologist doctor I have ever come across. She is a person with a positive outlook towards everything. She explains every matter in a detailed and calming way. Also, shares the right information which a patient rightfully deserves to know. My entire pregnancy experience has been so smooth. All thanks to her. No unnecessary tests, medicines and information were suggested/given by her. She also helps with the suitable and pocket friendly clinic recommendations for tests and scans. My delivery experience was also super smooth. I was so calm and relaxed. Everything was taken care of so well that the whole process for me as well as my family was easy and helpful. The whole surgery was done by her and it all went very very well. Post surgery also, my doctor regularly scheduled the follow ups and addressed my doubts and worries which made my post delivery phase better. While looking for trusted care for our father, we were referred to Dr. Menon’s Palliative Care unit. As the concept of Palliative Care was initially unknown to us, we went to check it out with some hesitation / uncertainty, however, the moment we saw the unit, our worries were partly lessened. Set inside a peaceful and green gated colony near Owala- Thane, this is a self-sufficient palliative care unit with all the necessary equipment and well-trained staff. The ambience of this place makes the patient feel at home. We found the place clean and hygienic. The assistance provided by their staff with regards to timely food, medicine administration, and regular check-ups is commendable. Each and every patient is looked after at personal level, which meant that we could be completely tension-free with respect to our family member’s care and well-being. Dr. Menon would herself make sure to share any important updates on a timely basis with us. Overall we would definitely recommend this place for those who are looking for a trusted palliative care unit.

I don’t even know where to begin, but I want to start by thanking you from the bottom of my heart for everything you’ve done for me. When this journey began, I had so many doubts and fears. I felt that my body wouldn’t support me through this, and I never thought I would reach this stage. But you believed in me when I couldn’t, and that belief made all the difference.
There were times when I wanted to give up, but you were always there guiding, supporting, and holding my hand through it all. You didn’t just treat me as your patient; you truly prioritized my health, cared for me like family, and ensured I felt safe and supported.
Through the multiple hospitalizations and all the hurdles we faced, you never gave up on me. You did everything in your power to heal me and help me move forward, always going above and beyond to make sure I was okay. Even though I had the love and support of my family, you were there for every triumph and every breakdown, celebrating my wins and comforting me through my lowest moments.
I’ll always remember how you pushed me gently but firmly, helping me reach the 33rd week of pregnancy, a milestone I couldn’t have imagined without you.
What you have done for us can never be forgotten. You weren’t just my doctor; you became a mother figure to me, someone who cared for me as if I were your own. You loved, guided, and nurtured me in a way that only a mother could, and for that, I will forever be grateful.

The care giving team make it so comfortable to the patients and their relatives that the entire stress of handling such delicate patients gets relieved.
The facility is in the lap of the nature with utmost clean and positive energy with entire team’s humble behaviour really appreciable. My father, an Alzheimer’s patient for more than ten years, was hospitalised (ICU) for some additional health issues. On discharge, he was unable to take oral feeds (was on tube feeds), he had a urinary catheter, and was extremely weak. He needed palliative care to improve his quality of life and to live a life of peace and dignity. Dr. Menon, with her holistic approach, and her team of very kind, and highly dedicated staff took excellent care of him. Dr. Menon, a very dynamic person, is extremely passionate and committed to this endeavour. She patiently briefed us about every step of his treatment plan, and also sent regular videos and updates regarding his progress. Whenever my mother visited him, the centre Manager or Coordinator would drop her to the main road to where she could avail of public transport. On my father’s demise, since my brother and I reside outside Mumbai, they helped in shifting the body to the mortuary, with their staff personally accompanying my mother. All other formalities and paperwork were also promptly completed. Excellent doctor & above all an exceptional human Dr. Prasanna is a ‘saviour’ for us. It was in the 7th month that we had to come to her as our earlier gynaecologist wanted to deliver our baby preterm for her personal gains. Dr. Prasanna comforted us and with her treatment, we delivered a healthy baby in the 40th week. She is approachable and available whenever we need her during this time. Even during post delivery follow ups, she explained to us every aspect properly & cleared all our doubts.

I had admitted my father at Dr. Menon’s Palliative care as he had suffered a stroke which had rendered him as a completely dependent person. The care home helped us a lot in making sure that he was attended to all the time. The care takers were excellent. Dr. Menon personally responds to all queries and provided the daily update. I would highly recommend her care home. The only drawback that I could feel was that the home is situated in a remote place alongside Godbunder Road which does not help with accessibility, but it shouldn’t be a problem if you have a personal car.

Dr Prasanna Menon is a very kind and skilled doctor. We went to her right after the 6th month of pregnancy. She quickly grasped the case and always gave the best recommendations based on our preference. Ours was a high risk pregnancy due to the age, but the doctor made everything seem so easy. We had a C-section surgery based on our preference and had a healthy baby boy after the 36th week, with minimal complications. The recovery from the surgery has been very fast, with very little pain. Thanks to Dr Prasanna for making the entire process very smooth and comfortable for us. She is most recommended.

My mother had hip bone fracture and had to undergo a surgery. She needed extreme care for recovery of the surgery considering hee age. We felt need of professional expertise for post operative care and have decided to keep her at Dr. Menons facility. This was the most wise decision we made as she was taken care by a team of experts which ensured timely recovery. Dr. Menons entire team is always smiling which gives you immense comfort to leave your loved one away from your home
Since we felt that our mother was recovering better there we have kept her for 2 weeks longer than intial plan

My mother was in the care of Dr Menon at her palliative center in Thane for 18months. I must say that the place was clean with natural light, in the back drop of the National Park, it was truly nestled in nature. She has an excellent team of support staff that took good care of my mother and nursed her back to health. I thank Dr Menon and her team for the special care, attention & nurture they provided to my mother during her stay at the palliative care. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent & clean place for their elders that need special care and attention.
