Dr Menon is having one of the best set ups in the area. A very difficult period of my father’s life was handled beautifully by her. My experience was extremely good. Doctor Menon monitors all the patients at least 2 times in a day personally. Physiotherapy and dietician is available.
Home cooked food with medicines given by trained staff assured us that my father will be taken care of in a professional manner with a personal touch.
Extremely neat and clean with a very peaceful atmosphere. Madam’s brother also is a thorough gentleman who manages the centre.

My dad was 80 and was suffering from long term diabetic and other related issues. He was continuously in and out of the hospital. We tried all possible combination like keeping a full-time help. However, nothing worked and finally we started looking for a place where he can get both medical attention and he gets company to talk and spend time. After exploring more than 15-20 such places in and around Mumbai and other outer location, my friend suggested about Dr. Menon Palliative Care unit. Around June 2024 i visited the place and met Dr. Menon and Mr. Anand. Immediately i got a feeling that my dad will taken care at this care unit. So, from June 2024 till he breathed his last on 4th Jan 2026, Dr. Menon and his staff had taken care of my dad’s every day. If it was medical, food or any other requirement. My father was a big foody and Dr. Menon care unit has the best food available for these kinds of foodies. Every personal or general occasion, if it is birthday, Diwali, dassera, Christmas all are celebrated in grand style plus to add the special food for that occasion for the patients and their relatives was provided. My dad slowly stopped complaining about missing home and he made this facility and care unit as part of his home till his last journey.
I am indeed blessed that i connected with Dr. Menon and his team and gave my dad all the possible comfort which i otherwise would not have given under my care.

While we were looking for nursing homes for our mother, we accidentally came across Dr. Menon’s Palliative Care Center. What we found was a jewel in more ways than one. In addition to being clean and spacious, it was surrounded by the beauty of nature. Tall trees, birds butterflies fluttering around and flowers in abundance. Nothing however, compared to the care, compassion and concern shown to our mother. Getting daily reports and videos of our mother from Dr. Menon showed us she went above and beyond what is normally expected. Our mother passed peacefully largely in part to Dr. Menon and her extraordinary staff. If I could add extra stars to the rating, I would do so. If you are looking for top-notch care for an ageing parent in the Thane area check them out immediately.
My friend’s mother was kept under Doctor’s care since mid November 2025 till this week when she breathed her last. We used to get daily update from the Doctor herself. The staff at the centre were caring and supportive. All the paper work and body collection were meticulously done & handled by Ms Preethi. We had heard about DR.Menon’s Palliative Care from various sources and both Dr.Menon and Mr.Anand were known personally to my nephew, Mr.Mani. We had therefore no hesitation in admitting my brother, Mr.Venkatraman, to their care at Thane West. He was there from December, 24 till October,2025.My brother had a history of epilepsy and his health had deteriorated very much due to prolonged loneliness and lack of proper food and medicines. He had left side issues also. However with friendly atmosphere and proper medicare by dedicated and skilled assistants at the Care, we could see improvement in his health and intake of food in the next 4-5 months. We could personally see the patience and dedication of the staff to all the inmates during our visits. The Care was also seen organising many events and social meets with a view to providing the inmates with occasions for participation and coming out of depression and loneliness.My brother’s health however stopped reacting to medicines from the 7th month and gradually deteriorated and he passed away on the 28th. Much to our relief, we received all the help is organising the final journey without having to run from pillar to post.We greatly appreciate the mission of the Palliaitive Care and the personal attention being given by Dr. Mrs.Menon to each and every patient. I wish the Palliative Care a lot of Gods help in serving the disabled and distressed amongst us. God Bless.
This is genuinely one of the better elder care centers across Mumbai. The care and compassion administered by the Dr Menon’s Team is genuine and great.
My father was a resident there for treatment of stage 4 cancer and they took very good care of him. They have a dedicated team to care of hospitalization including insurance TPA administration which no one at least in Mumbai does. This helped us a lot since he was in active treatment for a year.
Dr Menon also recommended alternative treatments which helped reduce the side effects of cancer treatments.
The best part are the staff who take care of residents like their parents. They always service with a smile and never out of obligation. The other good thing are the celebrations that place at the center for all festivals which brings good energy and all are encouraged to participate even family members. The location is surrounded by greenery and remote which is good for elderly residents but it’s within reach of Thane city hospitals. Thanks to team my father went into remission.

My father in law had been in coma for 2 months in a vegetative state from ICU. Dr. Menon’s team took good care of him during his final days. My FIL spent his final days cared for in a good peaceful environment. I have been suffering from pimple and acne issue from 2020. There were lots of big size pimples which used from which pus and blood used to come once they got burst and were painful and itchy. Even some parts scars had developed after the pimples got burst. Initially I took opinion of a Dermatologist in 2021 for which I was prescribed different creams and medicines. This treatment was for around 1 and half years. The results were very slow and didn’t cure completely. Once the medicines were stopped within 1 month the same issues started. Even my menstruation cycle got disrupted because the medicines consumed were for changing body hormones and after stopping the medicines the pimples got much worse. After stopping dermatologist medications after 8-9 months I went for Homeopathy. This had very slow results but gradually after 7 months the big pimples started subsiding and but it didn’t cure completely. Still many small pimples used to pop up & blood and pus flow was the same from them. Still after continuing the medications for around more 7 months I stopped it because it wasn’t curing the issue. Then I again I took break as was clueless for what treatment I should take. One of my friend suggested Accupunture treatment & he suggested me one clinic where I visited and upon inspecting the problems they advised me to take it for atleast 6-7 months. This treatment was very much costly, painful and time consuming. I had to visit Monday to Saturday then treatment lasted around 1.5 hours daily where they thin needles were inject in accupunture points, couping was done to remove bad blood. Pins were inserted on ear section, face, hands as this was painful remedy. Even after continuing it for 6 months there were no visible results. Finally one of my relatives suggested Dr. Prasanna Menon and told me to take an opinion. Doctor diagnosed my issue and suggested some blood tests and reports. After that I was prescribed some medications and even my diet changes were suggested by the doctor. I started to see results after 3 months. I continued it for more 9 months and I have seen great results which I couldn’t see in other treatments. All the acne and pimples have now been completely gone. There are some scars left for which my medication is still going on but I am very much pleased with results. Doctor had suggested my that even though there issue was on my face but it doesn’t mean only the face should be treated. They have medications to improve by vitamins and minerals of body, improve gut health and digestion and without affecting my hormones the medicines cured me. Even my menstruation cycle is regularized. I would really suggest anyone suffering from such issues to take opinion of Dr. Prasanna Menon.

My wife and I are super happy with the entire journey that we had during our whole 9 months of pregnancy. Dr. Prasanna was very helpful and kept giving most valuable information to us. We being first time parents really needed lot of guidance regarding the smallest of details like travel, food, dos and donts. Dr. Prasanna was with us throughout the whole journey and we are really thankful to her. After completing 39 weeks of pregnancy, Dr. Prasanna and her team kept monitoring the parameters of my wife and the baby and ensured that everything was safe. In middle of pregnancy, my wife an episode of very high fever, Dr. Prasanna was very prompt in taking appropriate measures so that the things wouldn’t get out of hands. Our baby’s delivery was C-section, but it went very smoothly and to our absolute satisfaction. Dr Menon was very helpful in the care of my mother, she had issues with bladder prolapse, but with her other duties, pushed this issue aside until it got worse. Dr Menon assured her that it can be fixed completely and performed the repair successfully. My mother is now doing much better thanks to her care, her caring approach with her patients is remarkable!

After my mom passed away suddenly my dad became extremely vulnerable. First few months were very rough for him but he somehow managed. Fast forward to a year later, his health deteriorated. Sudden falls, frequent hospitalizations due to CKD made it very difficult to keep him healthy at home. CKD issues lead to lung n heart issues soon. I live outside India but my sister lived close to him but his care was not possible at home. So we decided to find good quality assisted living for him. We visited dozens around Mumbai and each one of them were disgusting lacking basic hygiene and I am not even talking from western standards. Then we visited Dr. Menon’s Pallative care. We sat down with the staff and they were very welcoming. The place was very clean, great scenery and comfortable living. I thght is this the perfect place for dad? Then came Dr.Menon. She was charming, smart and extremely professional in what she did. She explained how they care for everyone, how they cook food on premises, her managers were all her family members and the different packages. We moved dad straight from his 3rd hospital stay in 4 months for a trial of 15days. They took great care of him, the nurses were awesome and he was happy being there. They celebrated birthdays, festivals with all the patients. He stayed there for abt 4months with dignity, respect n extreme care before he passed away peacefully. I ll forever be grateful to Dr.Menon and her staff for taking great care of our dad before his final days. If you are in need for a place where you can keep your parents with dignity, this is the place where they can recover, stay or whatever your focus is. Assisted living is still a taboo in India in 2025 when it shouldn’t be. Visit Dr. Menon’s palatine care if u r desperate like we were to find a safe n loving care. Excellent Service by Menons Palliative care: My husband was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (Amiotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) in October 2023. In this disease, the signals from the brain to organs slowly declines as the motor neurons starts degenerating or dying. It’s a progressive disease. It started with walking issues, slowly hands and legs got impacted. He couldn’t get up or sit on his own. Slowly he became completely dependent on an attendant who would help him with everything like feeding food, bathing etc etc. it’s devastating to see your loved one going through this and I would feel helpless seeing him transform into a vegetable state. Last 2 months the upper motor neurons got impacted and he had difficulty in breathing, chewing, swallowing and speech became slurred. This is when I shifted him to Menons Palliative care at Thane and I got a breather as they have a team of doctor, nurses and attendants. So his condition was monitored continuously which we couldn’t do at home. The staff is very caring and the the Doctor, Prasanna Menon would give regular updates on the patient’s condition via whatsapp. Since I am working, I was rest assured that my husband is being given the best care. I would whole heartedly recommend this palliative care for your loved ones. Since there is no cure for this disease, my husband passed away. But I must highlight that the palliative care gave me all the support post death as well guiding and supporting throughout with all the paperwork. I truly thank Prasanna Menon and her entire team for such divine work, from the bottom of my heart.

My father Mr Satish Pradhan was 84 years old when he passed away, he was a known case of kidney disorder with restricted fluid intake and restricted choices of meals with on & off support of Oxyen & Bipap, with movements with support. His case could not be managed at home due to the constant monitoring required . Dr Menon’s senior came to us as God sent blessing as I am a single parent with my sibling leaving abroad and we couldn’t manage Baba at home. After we enrolled him with Dr Menon he was well looked after well with love & care . We always want are parents to be around us forever but that is not possible. We all prayed that Baba should be peaceful and painfree, which he was till the end. As on a friends recommendation had gone for Dr prasanna menon consultation for my wife. Nowadays reports are sent online by medical fraternity and on WhatsApp Firstly for the past reports, she says we don’t check reports on phone then she hesitantly saw just 1 page of the report on mobile. As a lehmann I asked questions for my wife’s treatment, she got annoyed and said I have other patients waiting too My appointment was at 8.15 pm and she came to hiranandani hospital Thane only after 8.45 pm. She was hurrying and wasn’t at all compassionate for the way she treated us and said from tomorrow I will be on leave till 20th. Thus such high handedness and behaviour is not expected from a doctor, We left from there understanding we came at the wrong place, thus I wouldn’t recommend such doctors to anyone.

I had this problem of fibroids and as it was not hindering my activities, I was pulling on with it until I got severe abdominal pain last September and November. Initially it was dusted off thinking to be some gas problems. The second bout of pain in November was so severe that I had to be rushed to Hiranandani hospital, Thane where I was advised immediate hysterectomy surgery by gynecologist Dr Prasanna Menon. The surgery was successfully done in Horizon Prime hospital, Thane by surgeons Dr Prasanna Menon and Dr Manali Shilhotri. I was discharged on the 3rd day. Utmost care has to be taken post surgery and would like to appreciate the hospital staff for doing a great job. Back home, the same care and precautions has to be adhered to. The stitches got removed in couple of weeks and now in the 9th week post surgery, I am making great progress in the road to recovery. By a month from now, I would be back in shape as before. I am very much pleased and would like to thank Dr Prasanna Menon and Dr Manali Shilhotri for all their efforts and continued support. A big thank you from me and my family.

My mom passed away few weeks back and there are many emotions associated with her death that I am still processing. However, there is one aspect of her final days that I am comforted by and that is she spent them at Dr. Menons palliative care. The place is well-maintained and exudes a warm and safe home environment. It’s a two-story bungalow with a lovely front yard and backyard. It houses about 15-20 patients. The staff is warm, friendly, and seemed to bond well with the patients. And Dr Menon runs this facility with a firm yet kind and experienced hands. My husband and I were particularly impressed by her passion, expertise, and level of care for her patients. She knows every patient and family members by name and tirelessly works to make sure everyone gets the attention they deserve. She understands the journey that the family members are going through and answered all our questions with a lot of patience and empathy. I did not expect to find such a wonderful facility in Mumbai, and I feel so blessed that I did.
My antenatal and postnatal care was managed by Dr. Menon and to my experience she is the best gynecologist I have ever met so far. I received excellent care, right information for all my queries and excellent supervision of my health throughout my pregnancy. Dr. Prasanna Menon is the best gynecologist doctor I have ever come across. She is a person with a positive outlook towards everything. She explains every matter in a detailed and calming way. While looking for trusted care for our father, we were referred to Dr. Menon’s Palliative Care unit. As the concept of Palliative Care was initially unknown to us, we went to check it out with some hesitation / uncertainty, however, the moment we saw the unit, our worries were partly lessened. Set inside a peaceful and green gated colony near Owala- Thane, this is a self-sufficient palliative care unit with all the necessary equipment and well-trained staff. The ambience of this place makes the patient feel at home. We found the place clean and hygienic. The assistance provided by their staff with regards to timely food, medicine administration, and regular check-ups is commendable. Each and every patient is looked after at personal level, which meant that we could be completely tension-free with respect to our family member’s care and well-being. Dr. Menon would herself make sure to share any important updates on a timely basis with us. Overall we would definitely recommend this place for those who are looking for a trusted palliative care unit.

My father, an Alzheimer’s patient for more than ten years, was hospitalised (ICU) for some additional health issues. On discharge, he was unable to take oral feeds (was on tube feeds), he had a urinary catheter, and was extremely weak. He needed palliative care to improve his quality of life and to live a life of peace and dignity. Dr. Menon, with her holistic approach, and her team of very kind, and highly dedicated staff took excellent care of him. Dr. Menon, a very dynamic person, is extremely passionate and committed to this endeavour. She patiently briefed us about every step of his treatment plan, and also sent regular videos and updates regarding his progress. Whenever my mother visited him, the centre Manager or Coordinator would drop her to the main road to where she could avail of public transport. On my father’s demise, since my brother and I reside outside Mumbai, they helped in shifting the body to the mortuary, with their staff personally accompanying my mother. All other formalities and paperwork were also promptly completed. Excellent doctor & above all an exceptional human Dr. Prasanna is a ‘saviour’ for us. It was in the 7th month that we had to come to her as our earlier gynaecologist wanted to deliver our baby preterm for her personal gains. Dr. Prasanna comforted us and with her treatment, we delivered a healthy baby in the 40th week. She is approachable and available whenever we need her during this time. I had admitted my father at Dr. Menon’s Palliative care as he had suffered a stroke which had rendered him as a completely dependent person. The care home helped us a lot in making sure that he was attended to all the time. The care takers were excellent. Dr. Menon personally responds to all queries and provided the daily update. I would highly recommend her care home. The only drawback that I could feel was that the home is situated in a remote place alongside Godbunder Road which does not help with accessibility, but it shouldn’t be a problem if you have a personal car.
Dr Prasanna Menon is a very kind and skilled doctor. We went to her right after the 6th month of pregnancy. She quickly grasped the case and always gave the best recommendations based on our preference. Ours was a high risk pregnancy due to the age, but the doctor made everything seem so easy. We had a C-section surgery based on our preference and had a healthy baby boy after the 36th week, with minimal complications. The recovery from the surgery has been very fast, with very little pain. Thanks to Dr Prasanna for making the entire process very smooth and comfortable for us. She is most recommended.
